Lord Botetourt graduate JT Turner has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America(CoSIDA) Academic All-American team in football.
A junior, JT is a 6’1”, 265 pound defensive lineman for the Mountain Lions. He played in nine games this season and had 21 tackles while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the classroom as a business administration major.
Turner is the first Concord University athlete to be named an Academic All-American, in any sport, since 2015.
