Lord Botetourt senior John Turner took a seventh place in the Group 3A state track meet at Harrisonburg High School last week.
Turner heaved the shot 48’ 5.75” for LB’s only two points in the meet. Adrian Taylor finished 23rd in the 100 meter dash and the LB 4×100 team of Taylor, Clark Moeller and Max Burke was 15th with a time of 45.42.
The Phoebus boys and Blacksburg girls were team winners.
