A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last Friday to celebrate the grand opening of Unwined, a banquet room located inside Tizzone Wood Fire Kitchen and Wine Bar in the Daleville Town Center.
“It provides people a place to have a party and a great atmosphere,” owner Stephanie Rogol said. Rogol is also the owner of the Town Center Tap House and Sharkey’s Bar and Wing Joints that are located in Radford and Blacksburg.
She explained that by adding a banquet room to Tizzone, she hopes her establishments will become a bigger part of the community.
The banquet room can accommodate up to 45 to 50 people and will primarily be used for business meetings and private parties.
Just last week, before the grand opening, a fantasy baseball draft was held in the banquet hall.
One of the primary reasons why Rogol decided to open Unwined is because she sees a lot of people who get stressed out over having to arrange various functions like birthday parties and baby showers— something she said shouldn’t be happening.
“People get stressed over having to put together a party because they don’t do it every day— but we do,” she said, adding that she genuinely enjoys party planning. “It’s not that hard to make people happy; you just have to listen to them.”
Before the ribbon cutting, the Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce took a tour of Protos Security.
