Fincastle Baptist Church once again hosted another morning of vaccinations last Friday.
Mary Kate Bowser, VDH Nurse Manager for the Roanoke/Alleghany Health District, returned with her “strike team” to administer the second dose of the Moderna vaccine to registered Botetourt County residents.
First-timers received a dose of the Pfizer vaccine. One member of the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps (VMRC) stated that the VDH has the pod set-up down pat.
The strike team returns to Fincastle Baptist in 21 days for another round of vaccine administrations and to help register first-timers for their second dose.
