The James River and Lord Botetourt volleyball teams will have their final scrimmages this week before opening regular season play on Monday. Lord Botetourt will open with home matches on Monday against Christiansburg and Tuesday against Auburn, while James River will travel to Covington Monday. The Knights have a scrimmage at Bath County on Thursday of this week. Lord Botetourt will play in the Rockbridge Jamboree this Saturday, an event that will include over 20 high school volleyball teams. The Cavaliers scrimmaged at Glenvar last week.
