The buildings and grounds of Wellspring Presbyterian Church in Daleville came alive with Fine Arts Camp during the week of June 11.
Over 100 children ranging in ages from pre-school through fifth grade participated in classes of theater, guitar, pottery, hip hop dance, art, hair braiding, singing, Bible study, and more. Every camper chose four classes that piqued their interest, while 60 dedicated volunteers shared their time and talents as they taught classes, monitored bounce houses, served snacks, and managed parking. On the final night of the event, families attended a performance by the children followed by an ice cream social. This was the second year of Fine Arts Camp at Wellspring and classes filled quickly. The children were excited and energized throughout the week, deeming this event a great success by all involved. Wellspring Presbyterian Church is a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and has an active program for children and youth throughout the year. Everyone is welcome Sundays at 10 a.m. For more information go to www.wellspringpres.org.
