Bring a group of four and your favorite games to the 2017 FUNFEST sponsored by the GFWC Botetourt Town and Country Women’s Club on April 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This event will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in the Family Life Center. Tickets for the event must be bought in advance and are $20 per person, which will include game table set up, snacks, lunch, door prizes, and more.
Proceeds from this event will be used to fund college scholarships, support public school activities in Botetourt County, provide sponsorships and camperships to Virginia Girl’s State, Camp Easter Seal, and the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership conference as well as many more worthwhile community, state, and international projects.
The Botetourt Town and Country Women’s Club is an organization that is a small part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs which is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. This organization meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s UMC.
