A workshop will be held at Buchanan Baptist Church on March 28 from 6-8 p.m. with presenters who will discuss diagnosis, resources, and treatment options for people suffering from depression and how to support them.
Awareness of suicide, prevention, and support for the bereaved will be discussed as well. Speakers will include Frances Gaeta, LCSW, Bereavement Counselor at Carilion, and Nora Silver, M.D., who is with LewisGale Physicians Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.
This is open to everyone and light refreshments will be served.
