Frederick Calvin Worth, 67, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2025.
Fred work for Diversified Industries for 19 years, Firestone Paving, and James River Quarry for over 20 years running the crusher. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, tinkering with old trucks, cars, and lawnmowers. He spent many hours building a large Popsicle house, complete with furniture, and was a very good housekeeper in his own home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lloyd and Lillian Evelyn Staton Worth; daughters, Sharon (James) Clark, and Faye (Jim) Hawkins; and son, Donald (Barbara) Worth.
Survivors include his son, Justin Michael Worth of Pocohontas County, W.Va.; sister, Lois “Robin” Staton of Buchanan; brother, Mark (Patty) Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Monday, February 17, 2025 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, from 1-2 p.m., with the funeral services at 2 p.m. Interment was private in Fairview Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
