The 30th Annual Mountain Magic in Fall festival will take place on Saturday, October 4, in Buchanan. Hosted in the scenic Buchanan Town Park off Lowe Street, the event has become an autumn tradition, celebrating the season with crafts, food, music, vintage vehicles, and small-town charm.
As preparations for this milestone event get underway, the Town of Buchanan is actively seeking crafters and food vendors to participate. Vendor spaces are now available for reservation. Crafters can secure a 10 ft. x 10 ft. booth space for $25 per space, nonrefundable. Food vendors may reserve a 10 ft. x 10 ft. space for $35, but must also obtain a Health Department Permit to participate.
Interested vendors are encouraged to contact the Town of Buchanan by calling (540) 254-1121, Ext. 1, or by emailing volunteer coordinator Kitty Edwards at kittywedwards@gmail.com to request an application.
Mountain Magic in Fall has grown significantly over the past three decades, drawing visitors from throughout the region to enjoy handmade crafts, traditional foods, live music, and the ever-popular display of classic cars, trucks, and tractors. Local shops and restaurants along Main Street will also be open throughout the day, adding to the festive atmosphere and providing additional opportunities for vendors and guests alike.
As part of the celebration, the Town of Buchanan will be selling official festival T-shirts and hats featuring the Mountain Magic logo, designed in 2024 by Buchanan native Ranse Ransone.
For further information, vendor inquiries, or general questions about the festival, contact the Town of Buchanan at (540) 254-1212 or reach out via email to Kitty Edwards at kittyw.edwards@gmail.com.
