J. Ralph Naff, 99, of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Reynolds Naff; great-grandson, Evan Austin; parents, Joel and Drusilla Naff; brothers, Russell, Berlin, Curtis, and Glen; sisters, Irene Orndorf and Lucille Mills.
Ralph retired from Norfolk & Western, then Norfolk Southern Railroad with over 37 years of service.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Tammy Naff; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Tim Miller; grandchildren, Travis Naff, Joel and Sarah Miller, Jenny and Danny Austin; great-grandchildren, Keyleigh, Addison, and Piper Naff; Tyler Correll, Kellan Miller, and Liam Austin; sister, Betty Caricofe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home.
