The Buchanan Moose Lodge will have its annual Thanksgiving dinner for senior citizens and shut-ins on Sunday, Nov. 23. It will begin at 1 p.m., with Bingo games to follow.
It’s the 40th year for the free dinner. It came about as a result of the Flood of ’85 when a lot of folks didn’t have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving, so the Moose Lodge put on a dinner the Sunday before.
