Botetourt County Libraries have opened a public survey inviting residents to help shape the system’s strategic priorities for the next three years. Library officials are refining draft priorities along with updated mission, vision, and values statements, all of which are based on data gathered from the community and feedback collected during earlier outreach efforts. The survey offers residents an opportunity to provide additional insight before the plan is finalized.
According to the library system, the goal is to ensure that upcoming initiatives reflect the needs and expectations of Botetourt County residents. Community participation is considered essential for creating a plan that supports the future of library services, programs, and facilities throughout the county. The survey is brief, fully anonymous, and open to all residents who wish to share their perspectives on how the library system can best serve the community.
The survey can be accessed at https://www.botetourtva.gov/FormCenter/Libraries-6/Strategic-Priorities-Feedback-142. Library officials encourage widespread participation to help strengthen the final strategic plan.
