The James River boys were snowed out of a couple basketball games last week but things will pick up, weather permitting, before the holidays set in.
River was scheduled to host Bath County on Tuesday of this week, followed by a trip to Craig County this Friday. Next week the Knights are at Faith Christian on Monday and at Parry McCluer on Tuesday before taking a short Christmas break. They’re scheduled to play in a tournament at Riverheads on December 29 and 30.
Prior to this week the Knights had played just one game, a win over Riverheads.
