The Lord Botetourt girls traveled to Fishersville last Saturday to complete the second game of a tournament at Wilson Memorial High School that was weathered out the first week of December. The girls made the trip worthwhile with a 65-15 win over Harrisonburg.
Everyone scored for LB in the win, led by Addison Naff with 16 points. Maggie Hoover added 15 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals and was named to the Wilson Memorial All-Tournament team. Natalee Bowling added 13 points and nine boards for the Cavaliers.
With the win LB improved to 4-5 overall, including a 50-43 loss to Abingdon in Daleville last week.
“Overall, the team played very hard and I think we saw how good we can be if we can clean up some things,” said LB coach Renee Favaro. “Abingdon has an NC State signee, and she is tough.”
