The Lord Botetourt track team competed in a couple events last weekend.
Several Cavaliers competed in the Mid Area Track Classic at Liberty University in Lynchburg on Friday, Feb. 3. Erin Kline placed seventh in the girls high jump with a jump of 4’8″.
On Saturday LB attended the Bulldog Qualifier at Liberty University. The girls 3200 meter relay team of Emily D’Arpa, Tiffany Green, Star Ritchie, and Libby Keely finished eighth with a time of 11:31.86, and the boys 3200 meter relay of Cameron Turney, Shawn DiRocco, Connor Hayes, and Bryton Dalglish finished ninth with a time of 9:31.71.
“We saw a lot of personal records and strong performances,” said LB coach Chris Caldwell. “The athletes are in great standing for the conference meet on Saturday at Heritage High School.”
