Maia Folk had three hits, including a three-run homer, as the Lord Botetourt softball team hit the break running last week. The Cavaliers won at Northside, 11-0, in their final game before spring break.

LB was scheduled to play at William Byrd last Friday, but that game was rained out. So, the Cavaliers will take a 10-2 record into spring break.
Last week at Northside, Meredith Wells pitched a complete game shutout in LB’s win. Wells allowed just three hits in the win.

The Cavaliers were hitting on all cylinders on offense. In addition to Folk’s big day Halle Reese hit a two-run homer and Wells helped her own cause with two hits. Kloe Bacon had a double, a triple and two runs batted in.

The Cavaliers are 1-1 in the Blue Ridge District and will return to action next Tuesday, April 23, with a game at William Fleming.
