It’s that time of year again when the local Botetourt Rotary Club is offering prizes to benefit local non-profits. This year the club will fundraise to support the Botetourt County Future Farmers of America (FFA) and to support the ongoing mission of Rotary.
Non-profit organizations have a benefit to society that the government can’t always provide. Hundreds of volunteers donate their time and money to support goodwill, raise awareness, stewardship and provide for those who do not have the resources to meet the demands of life.
This year, generous donors have provided over 37 prizes worth hundreds of dollars to support the local,selected non-profit. The Botetourt County Rotary Club will be selling raffle tickets for $10 each and only 500 tickets will be sold. Members encourage everyone to support this local effort by purchasing raffle tickets. The drawing will be held on November 6, and prize winners will be notified at that time.
