Longaberger Bingo is again planned to raise funds to purchase frozen turkeys for Botetourt County’s food pantries.
It will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Fincastle Firehouse on US 220. The annual event is sponsored by the Botetourt Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF).
Doors open at 9 a.m. and games begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will be available.
It is a 20-card game with a silent auction, Chinese auction and cake raffles.
Bring a canned food item to be entered in a special raffle.
There will be a special drawing for those who pre-register by October 9 by calling April Howard at 473-2598.
