Buchanan Christmas Lights Donations – The Town of Buchanan is accepting donations to go towards the 2022 Festival of Light Christmas lights display. To make a donation, checks may be made payable to Town of Buchanan Christmas Lights and mailed to Post Office Box 205, Buchanan, 24066.
Buchanan Fall Clean Up – A dumpster will be available on the Town Park parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 15, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. for use by town residents to dispose of household items. Bring proof of town residency. No brush, leaves, tires, construction debris or toxic items including paint, oil, batteries, chemicals or pesticides allowed. Second Sunday Dinner – Time to place your order for Second Sunday Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 9; pick up from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The Historic Wilson Warehouse is offering curbside meals to go featuring Homemade Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Dinner Roll and Dessert for $12.
