In their first NCAA berth since 2017, the James Madison University volleyball team was swept by 18th ranked Brigham Young University, 25-20, 25-10, 25-15. The match was in the first round of the NCAA tournament last Friday, December 2, at the Petersen Event Center on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. The Dukes wrapped up the season with a 24-5 record and the Sun Belt Conference Championship. That earned the Dukes and Lord Botetourt High graduate Miette Veldman an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship tournament.
