Post Commander Jerry Jacobsen of VFW Post 1841, Daleville, recently presented a check for $1,000 to Cheryl Ponce, who works in Volunteer Services at the Salem VA Medical Center. This money will go towards the personal needs of the hospitalized veterans at that facility that the VA does not supply.
