The Lord Botetourt cheerleaders took first place among 10 3A/4A teams in the “Battle at Byrd” cheer competition last Saturday. The Cavaliers had the highest score out of all 19 teams in the competition, as Graham won the 1A/2A division and William Fleming won the 5A/6A division. The girls will be back in action this Saturday at Glenvar.
