Botetourt County Parks & Rec hosts Coaches Cup

During the winter basketball season, coaches have dedicated their time and effort to teaching the youth of Botetourt County the game of basketball. The county’s Parks & Recreation Department wants to thank coaches for all that they have contributed to make this program successful.

Botetourt County Parks & Recreation invites the community to the 2024 Coaches Cup (formerly known as the Botetourt Basketball Coach Tournament).

This year, the single-elimination Coaches Cup has been reimagined and will feature a team from each booster club (up to 6) who will face off to determine the champ and winner. The winning booster club will be the first to be awarded the coveted Coaches Cup trophy and the associated bragging rights that go with being the champ.

The Coaches Cup will be held at Lord Botetourt High School on Sunday, March 3. Games are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., with the championship game expected to tip off around 5 p.m.

  • Who: The Coaches Cup will feature up to 6 teams (a team from each booster club) who will face off to determine a champion
  • Where: Lord Botetourt High School – 1435 Roanoke Road, Daleville
  • When: Sunday, March 3
  • Time- Games are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. with the championship game expected around 5 p.m.
