On September 19, 2024, Perry Dean Wendling went to be in the Lord’s loving care!
He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., September 17,1958 to his father, Dean O’Dell and ex-wife Rose Wendling; later, Dean’s second wife and Perry’s mother Patricia Ann Blanchard Wendling. Both preceded him in death along with brothers, Gary Dean KuyKendall and Kim Stewart Wendling.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Wendling and her daughter Kathy; Perry’s sons, Criss and Shaun Wendling and ex-wife Bonnie Richmond, along with Perry’s brothers, John D. and D. Charles Wendling and their families.
Perry Dean was a carpenter for over 15 years while living in North Carolina. Later, he moved back to Virginia, working in auto tire and auto routine maintenance, and his marriage to Cindy for over 25 years! Perry enjoyed being able to help out others when he could, along with hunting and fishing, his auto routine maintenances, carpentry, lawn and garden care, time with family and friends, grilling good deer meat, time in their pool, making great deer jerky and watching the Redskins and Pro wrestling!
Perry’s last wishes were honored by his wife of 25 years Cindy Wendling. Anyone wishing to give memories and respects is invited to go to Perry’s obituary at botetourtfuneralhome@gmail.com.
