Kylee Grace Aaron, a 2025 graduate of James River High School, was awarded a $1,000 college scholarship by the Virginia Bear Hunters Association (VBHA). Kylee is the daughter of Charles (Chuck) and Amanda Aaron of Buchanan and members of the VBHA. Kylee plans to attend Roanoke College and pursue a degree in Business Administration.
The Virginia Bear Hunters Association is dedicated to the preservation of hunting bear with dogs and to sound wildlife management principles. The VBHA’s annual scholarship is open to members and their families and is awarded based on academic achievement, planned course of study, community and association participation, honors and awards, and an essay.
