Adam Rutledge and True Cadence  playing for season’s last Flat Pickin’ Friday

True Cadence

Adam Rutledge with special guest True Cadence will be on the Pavilion Stage at Daleville Town Center for the final Flat Pickin’ Fridays of the season this Friday, Sept. 8.

Numerous activities for children, local craft beverages for adults and artisan food trucks will be on hand for the evening entertainment.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and entry is $5 with children 12 years old and under admitted free.  The event runs from 5-9 p.m.

Roanoker Adam Rutledge and his band will play modern country singles from artists that include Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Billy Currington, Jack Ingram, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Montgomery Gentry and Toby Keith.

True Cadence, another Roanoke-area group, is becoming one of Southwest Virginia’s “favorite variety bands” performing favorite Country, Classic Rock, Pop and Southern Rock songs.

Big Lick Entertainment presents the show with100 percent of all ticket and beverage proceeds going to benefit the Council of Community Services. The concert is underwritten by Bank of Botetourt.

The Council of Community Services envisions a community in which organizations work collaboratively to increase social assets, expand access to resources, reduce redundancy and focus on human potential as the keys to economic development and individual well being. Through its mission to improve the quality of life for all, the Council serves as a central resource linking community, organizations and individuals by identifying needs through research, planning solutions, accessing services and evaluating results.

The final Flat Pickin’ Fridays date for this summer is September 8 when Rutledge with and True Cadence take the stage.
