Ethan Webster and Travis Jones attended the American Legion Boys State and were honored at the Post 240 meeting this past Thursday night.
Each gave a brief report as to his experiences while attending this one-week event at Radford University. They both agreed it was a “once in a lifetime happening” and strongly recommended that who has the chance should attend this function. They learned how government on all levels operate, court room procedures and other government functions.
These young men must demonstrate leadership, character and honesty traits. They are put through an extensive interview process and are chosen by a board comprised of the administrative staff of their high school.
