On Wednesday, May 19, American Legion Post 240 of Daleville and American Legion Post 93 of Buchanan partnered to present a $750 Raymond A. Gabay Memorial Scholarship to Addison McCaleb at James River High School. McCaleb will be attending the College of William and Mary this fall.
The second scholarship partnered between American Legion Post 240 and MAAG Gala Inc. was for patriotism. The winner of this $800 scholarship is Bridgette West, who will be attending Emory & Henry this fall.
