‘Annie Get Your Gun’ opens tomorrow at Attic Productions

Attic Productions Inc. is bringing its summer musical production, Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun,” to the stage beginning Thursday, July 21 at the D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center in Fincastle.

The story of sharpshooting Annie Oakely is brought to life as she shoots her way into Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show, and ultimately into the heart of fellow sharp-shooting champion Frank Butler.

Show dates are July 21-24, 28-31, and August 4-7; Thursdays and Fridays at 7:20 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinees,  2:30 p.m.

Partial funding is provided by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Produced by permission from Concord Theatricals.

Attic Productions is located at 7490 Roanoke Road (Route 220), Fincastle.

Reservations are strongly suggested; call 540-473-1001.

Volunteer box office hours Monday and Wednesday, 3-7 p.m., and Saturday, 10-2; leave a message at other times. Tickets: Adults $18, Youth 18 & under and groups of 10 or more, $15.
