The Ashley Plantation Stingrays swim team is back this summer after missing the season last summer due to the pandemic. Practices will be starting June 1 at the Ashley Plantation pool, and six meets are currently scheduled.
If you are not sure if swimming is for you, join the team for tune-ups at the Botetourt YMCA. Tune-ups cost $5 each session, and they will start Sunday, May 2, with two available sessions (3-4 p.m. and 4-5 p.m.). This will be a great time to meet some of the team, the coaches, start to get back in shape, and see if the swim team is a good fit for you.
