BOTETOURT – Attic Productions has extended its run of “Harvey” because of the bad weather that cancelled three shows last weekend.

The show is now scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11-13 and Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20. Curtain is at 7:30 nightly with 2:30 p.m. matinees each Saturday.

Anyone holding reservations for the cancelled performances is asked to call the theater at 473-1001 to reschedule. Every effort will be made to secure like seating for the rescheduled performances.

“Harvey” is the heartwarming comedy and Pulitzer Prize-winning play about everybody’s friend, Elwood P. Dowd, and his best friend, Harvey (who just happens to be a 6-foot, 3-1/2-inch tall rabbit).

Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling Attic Productions at 473-1001.  Leave a message and someone will call you back. Ticket office hours begin two weeks before the play starts and are Monday and Wednesdays, 3-7 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens. Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more. D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Theater is located at 7490 Roanoke Road, (US 11) just south of Fincastle.
