In October, families of Colonial Elementary participated in “Colonial Reads One Book.” The book chosen was “Summer of the Woods” from the Virginia Mysteries by Steven K. Smith. On November 15, Smith visited Colonial to share with students about the writing process. It was sponsored by the school PTA in partnership with the school library.
