Botetourt Bee Club member Sarah Melendy (at right) was busy baking biscuits for the
Botetourt’s Sheriff’s Office in preparation for National Honeybee Day Saturday.

Members of the county’s Honeybee Club shared their enthusiasm for honeybees by delivering biscuits and honey to the Sheriff’s Office and to Botetourt’s Fire & EMS Departments Saturday morning. Melendy baked 150 biscuits and took 4 pounds of honey to the Sheriff’s Office. Among others making deliveries was Botetourt Bee Club member Mike Wolfe (above, left) who provided biscuits and honey to Mike Puckett with Fincastle Fire Department with a thank you to the Fincastle Fire & EMS.
