The Friends of the Buchanan Library will hold a used book sale and yard sale on Friday, May 23, from 3-7p.m., and Saturday, May 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. New books have been added to the existing stock and all yard sale items are half price. Hardbacks are $1, paperbacks are 50 cents, media 25 cents, and children’s books are free up to five books. The sale is being held at the Carson Memorial Rescue Squad Building, 19673 Main Street, across from the Fire and Rescue Building. All proceeds go the Buchanan Public Library.
