This 19th century powder horn was donated to the Botetourt County Historical Museum by Danny Kyle in 2017. It is made of animal horn, tooled bronze and leather. The wide end would be filled with gunpowder and capped while the small end was the nozzle for loading a gun. Powder flask is the proper term and this one is Mediterranean.
