This Virginia 250 Passport is available at the Botetourt Museum of History & Culture in Fincastle. It contains pictures, descriptions and websites of 63 museums and sites throughout Virginia, including the Botetourt Museum.

The Passport can be used to “chronicle your adventure and receive special discounts along the way.” It is good until December 31, 2026, and promotes Virginia’s outsized role in America’s founding. Inside there is information on how to receive “Sweepstakes” cash awards.

In 2020, the Virginia General Assembly established the VA250 Commission to oversee and foster statewide partnerships from 2023-2031. The Honorable Terry L. Austin is chair of the VA American Revolution 250 Commemoration. For more information visit Info@visitvirginia250.org or VirginiaHistory.org/250Passport.
