There are 12 newly donated oak chairs for sturdy seating at the soon to be open Botetourt County History Museum located at 26 E Main Street, Fincastle. Some are around a large library table for research in the library/bookstore. They were donated in February 2022 by the Honorable Malfourd W. “Bo” Trumbo, ret. He purchased them from the Virginia State Capitol auction when it was renovated after the 2005 Session. He used them in his Botetourt home before it was sold. As the Virginia State General Assembly reconvenes June 1 in Richmond to pass the budget, Botetourt County history is still being made.
