This tax collector kit is made from cotton fabric and was used by the Botetourt County treasurer when riding horseback through the county to collect taxes. This kit contains uncollected tickets for the year 1882 and was used by K.B. Stoner, treasurer at that time. It is displayed upstairs in the Botetourt Museum of History and Culture.
