Three Botetourt County swim teams competed in the Roanoke Valley Aquatic Association City-County swim meet in Lynchburg July 24 and 25. The meet included 13 area swim teams and was held at the Liberty University Natatorium. Olympic Park won the team championship, ending Stonegate’s two-season run as RVAA champ. Stonegate finished second and the Hunting Hills Country Club took third. Locally, Read Mountain was eighth, Ashley Plantation was ninth, and a smaller Limestone Park team finished 13th.
