The Botetourt Retired Educators will meet on Monday, December 11, at the Catawba Masonic Lodge at 14 Academy Street in Fincastle. It is located directly beside the Family Life Center of Fincastle United Methodist Church. The group had originally planned to meet at the church, but there is a heating problem at the Family Life Center. The women of the church will be preparing the meal at a cost of $17 per person. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the meeting starting at 11. If you are planning to eat, please let Susan Martin (540-473-2636 or susanmartin730@gmail.com) know by Sunday, December 3.
All retired educators living in the area are welcome to attend. Dues ($35) may be paid at any meeting. This meeting will be the final one for collecting scholarship money for the 2023 scholarships. Members will be celebrating the holiday with music by students from the Botetourt Music Academy. New members are always welcome.
