The Botetourt County Rotary Club held a fundraiser to benefit both the James River High School and Lord Botetourt High School FFA programs. A total of $2,400 was raised to benefit the FFA programs in Botetourt County. During the joint FFA event held February 21 at Lord Botetourt High School, Rotary members presented checks for $1,200 to both the Lord Botetourt FFA and James River FFA.

The Rotary Club extends its heartfelt thanks to all those in the community who helped with this fundraiser, and recognizes that farming is a vital part of Botetourt County’s economy and heritage.

The Botetourt County Rotary Club meets each first and third Wednesday of the month at noon at Bellacino’s restaurant on Roanoke Road in Daleville. All are welcome.
