Recently, Breckinridge Elementary held its annual Walk-a-Thon, the main fundraising event for the PTA.  Students who raised at least $75 got to help turn Principal Wyatt Turner and school secretary Denise Smith into living ice cream sundaes. The student body surpassed the school goal and collected $13,000 in donations which will go toward building a picnic pavilion at the school.
