Virginia Department of Transportation has announced three road closures for bridge work over the next two weeks.
- On Tuesday, Feb. 28 and Wednesday, March 1, Rt. 643 (Goode Lane) is closed to replace a bridge located 0.15 mile from Rt. 640 and 0.20 from the dead end. Rt. 643 will have a footbridge in place for pedestrian traffic.
- Rt. 606 (Grove Hill Road) will be closed Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5 for a bridge replacement located 0.60 mile from Rt. 666 and 1.73 miles from the Craig County line, weather permitting.
- Rt. 600 (Haymakertown Road) will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, March 7 and 8 for a bridge replacement located at Rt. 748 and 1.45 miles from Rt. 779, weather permitting.
