The Buchanan Lions Club will host its annual English Style Tea fundraiser from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Buchanan Community House, 421 Lowe Street, Buchanan.
The event will feature a four-course English-style afternoon tea and silent auction. Attendees will receive a party favor, and the silent auction will include items for a variety of ages and budgets.
Prizes will be awarded for the best tea hat in two categories: adult and children. Dressy attire is suggested.
Tickets are $35 per person and are available from Buchanan Lions Club members.
Proceeds from the tea and other Lions Club fundraisers are returned to the community through the organization’s service efforts, which focus on vision, diabetes care, education and local community needs.
