The Buchanan Lions Club hosted its Third Annual Tea Party on Saturday, August 17, at the historic Wilson Warehouse in Buchanan. The event welcomed 51 guests along with Buchanan Lions Club volunteers, filling the room with laughter, fellowship, and community spirit.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of refreshments, conversation, and themed décor, while supporting the important work of the Buchanan Lions Club. The club extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket and attended, as their participation directly contributes to the Lions’ mission of serving the community.

Proceeds from the Tea Party benefit the many programs and projects that the Buchanan Lions Club supports throughout the year. Every dollar raised stays local, going right back into the Buchanan community. Funds help provide eyeglasses and vision screenings for those in need, assist with food pantry programs, support youth initiatives, and contribute to local service projects that improve the lives of residents.

The Buchanan Lions Club, part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization, continues to live out its motto, “We Serve,” by addressing community needs both great and small. Through events like the Tea Party, the club is able to not only raise funds but also bring people together in celebration of service and neighborly care.

The Buchanan Lions Club thanks the community for its ongoing support and looks forward to many more opportunities to serve together. A special thanks goes out to the Town Improvement Society for donating the use of the Wilson Warehouse.
