The Builder’s Club of Central Academy Middle School will host the annual Veterans Day ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11.
The Central Academy Patriot Band and Chorus will perform in honor of veterans’ sacrifice and service to their country. This year’s guest speaker is veteran and Botetourt County Deputy Sheriff, Lt. Scott Gathje.
The ceremonial commencement will begin promptly at 9:55 a.m. in the school auditorium; plan to arrive by 9:45. Due to COVID restrictions, a maximum of 40 guests are permitted and masks are required. Preferential seating is provided for veterans and their family members.
