The Cavalier Foundation is hosting a “Casino Night” fundraiser for its scholarship fund on Saturday, April 12, at 7 p.m. at the Train Station on Jefferson Street in Roanoke. Ticketholders will receive food, 10,000 “dollars” to gamble, and two drink tickets. There will be an opportunity to purchase more chips throughout the night for a chance to go “all-in” for some big prizes.
Last year the Cavalier Foundation awarded 10 $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Lord Botetourt. This year, the goal is to double that amount. For more information, contact secretary@cavalierfoundation.org.
