Two Lord Botetourt athletes have been named to Virginia High School League Class 3 all-state teams on the ballfield. Autumn Russell is second team all-state in softball and Garrett Lonker is second team all-state in baseball.
Russell, a senior, was named second team all-state at catcher. Hannah Tober, a shortstop from New Kent, was named Player of the Year and Broadway coach Becky Cantrell was named Coach of the Year.

Lonker, a junior, was named to the all-state second team as a designated hitter. Jeff Humphreys of Abingdon is the state Player of the Year and Spotswood coach Marcus Davis has been named Coach of the Year.
