The Lord Botetourt indoor track team was at Liberty University in Lynchburg last weekend for the Liberty Flames High School Invitational. Three Cavaliers qualified for the state indoor meet at the event.
Kendal Howard and DJ Toliver of LB qualified for states with a one-two finish in the shot put. Howard won the event with a toss of 50’ 8.75” and Toliver was second at 48’3”.
Carter Hudson was 26th in the 1,600-meter run while Jack McDaniel was 29th in the 55. For the girls, Jillian Harris was 20th in the 55 hurdles.
